Core principles of Leadership Stamina
The PQ Institute's Leadership Stamina training is based on the holistic training
of professional athletes. It combines the principles of Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI),
biokinetics, nutrition and sports psychology, providing business leaders and company
teams with practical life-

Nutrition plays a key role in managing energy levels and in ensuring sustained performance. More complex than counting kilojoules, avoiding fat, or choosing healthy foods, nutrition for leadership stamina is about what and when you eat and the influence of glucose levels on your performance and wellbeing.
• Resilience for High Performance,
Resilience is one of the most important skills business leaders can have in today’s turbulent times. In essence, resilience is the ability to bounce back after failures and setbacks.
In this module, participants will learn how to thrive under stress and the key skills and attributes required to succeed’
• Mindfulness for Leadership Stamina
Research has proven that mindfulness is by far one of the most potent stress dissolving approaches around.
This module is designed to give an understanding and an experience of what mindfulness is; the fundamental Principles of this way of living and the key practices that cultivate mindfulness. While the concepts are simple, they are incredibly powerful when put into practice.

Exercise and movement are critical influences on sustained performance, enhanced energy levels and overall wellbeing. Moving away from traditional gym workouts, this module emphasises a movement/ fitness routine that is flexible and customised to each participant’s needs, preferences and lifestyle

Leadership Stamina is created to generate tangible and sustainable performance improvements, customised for each delegate, Leadership Stamina includes:
• A body and blood analysis conducted by our team of specialists.
• A PNI Assessment – a medically accredited online assessment/diagnostic tool, backed by 15 years of scientific research and designed to evaluate and quantify your levels of performance and wellbeing. Accessible to participants before and after the workshop, the PNI Assessment enables ongoing monitoring, regulation and management of wellbeing.
• A personalised, holistically integrated action-
The training is conducted at three venues based on client preference.
The venue in Pretoria is is the High Performance Centre (HPC). The Centre is Southern
Africa’s first elite one-
The venue in Johannesburg is the Vodacom World of Golf. The facility is a world class one, offering a wide range of activities for golfing enthusiasts. It is situated in Woodmead and has a gym facility endorsed by the HPC.
The third option is to conduct the training at client premises.
Ensuring Success back at the Workplace
To ensure ongoing success for leaders, the PQ Institute has put in place the following mechanisms to reinforce the programme:
• Three monthly follow ups reinforcing key elements of the programme; introduction of new knowledge and skills and the opportunity for support and encouragement
• Coaching carried out by accredited coaches from the PQ Institute or existing coaching structures within the client organisation
• Follow up sessions with one of our nutritional or biokinetic specialists
• High Performance breakfasts that offer the opportunity to network and gain further insights and motivation re achieving optimum levels of energy and sustained performance
